Visual artist Simone Fontana Reis (b. 1965, São Paulo, Brazil) moves between the city and the forest. Her research explores the diversity of languages and materials, creating bridges between worlds. Drawing from stories from her personal life and those heard in the different communities she visits, focusing on plants and forests, she creates fables that are explored through painting, sculpture, performance, and music.
