É na Chapada Diamantina que o cerrado, a caatinga, os campos rupestres e as matas de altitude se encontram. Promovemos passeios na Reserva Ambiental para reconhecimento desses biomas e das plantas endêmicas.
Colaboramos com guias e biólogos locais, entre eles Chiquinho, nativo de Igatu. Com ele organizamos passeios de reconhecimento botânico que combinam conhecimento ancestral com xamanismo, biologia e os usos farmacêuticos das ervas medicinais.
Percorrendo as antigas trilhas que levam ao Vale do Pati podemos conhecer espécies como a arruda-da-serra, pau-de-mocó, cura-facada, a batata-da-serra, dentre tantas outras.
Em colaboração com os moradores de Igatu, iniciaremos um viveiro de mudas de plantas nativas. As mudas serão distribuídas gratuitamente para a comunidade.

It is here in the Chapada Diamantina that the cerrado, caatinga, and campo rupestre ecoregions meet. We promote hikes in the Environmental Reserve to identify these biomes and their endemic plants.

In collaboration with residents of Igatu, we will start a nursery with seedlings of native plants. The seedlings will be distributed to the community free of charge.
