Luísa Prestes (Camaquã, Brasil, 1993) é artista visual, pesquisadora e arte-educadora. Participou de ações, performances e exposições no Brasil, Holanda e Uruguai. Vive e cria a partir da noção do fazer artístico como o próprio tecer de existência na teia da vida. Seu trabalho apresenta forte interesse por questões ecológicas e pela valorização de modus vivendi conectados aos saberes intuitivos, naturais e ancestrais. Atualmente tem se dedicado mais intensamente à linguagem da pintura, onde busca criar espaços simbólicos de acolhimento, cura e respeito às subjetividades sensíveis às forças e formas da natureza.

She lives and creates based on the notion of making art as weaving existence in the web of life. Her work demonstrates a strong interest in ecological issues, and it values modi vivendi that are connected to intuitive, natural, and ancestral knowledge. She has recently dedicated herself more intensely to the language of painting, where she seeks to create symbolic spaces for welcoming, healing, and respecting subjectivities that are sensitive to the forces and forms of nature.
