Gabriela Maia (Montes Claros, 1994) é artista visual, graduada em arquitetura e urbanismo, especializada em arte-educação e cursa atualmente arteterapia. Pesquisa a água como força que desperta o inconsciente e promove a cura, atenta aos efeitos psicológicos que esse elemento desempenha. Entre a abstração e a representação, suas pinturas sobrepõem camadas de cores, criando relevos, com a intenção de materializar os percursos e os desenhos que a água cria ao transitar por paisagens naturais.

Gabriela Maia (Montes Claros, 1994) is a visual artist with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism, specializing in art education and currently studying art therapy. She is researching water as a force that awakens the unconscious and promotes healing, focusing on the element’s psychological effects. Between abstraction and representation, her paintings superimpose color layers, creating relief, with the intention of materializing the paths and traces that water creates in navigating natural landscapes.
