Elke Weisbarth (b. 1969 in Stuttgart, Germany) lives and Works in South Germany.
Movement has always fascinated her — from rolling wheels and dancing feet to blurred moments that capture the dynamics of life. Her attentive focus on the present moment and her openness to new experiences shape her intuitive way of working.
Nature, plants, and our shared sense of community form an important point of departure. She explores these themes through three-dimensional approaches in textiles, photography, spatial sculpture, color, and performance, often giving materials a second life.
