Thamy Kurosawa is a visual artist and designer. She holds a degree in Cinema and Visual Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro; images have always motivated and moved her. She is deeply interested in researching the plant world and questions referring to the relationship of the image capable of expanding the universe of meaning of words, through her own typography. Currently, she is dedicated to the practice of drawing and painting. In her work under construction, she has found, in the process of transforming foods, a vehicle of poetic meaning. In her visual expression, which predominantly uses paints and oil pastels, the material recomposes itself in visual expression, in a constant composition and decomposition that forges a visual universe.
