Dárida Rodrigues (São Paulo) is a visual artist, researcher, and doctoral student in Performing Arts and the Moving Image at the University of Lisbon. She is dedicated to the creation of audiovisual installations in different formats: site-specifics, audio walks, and performance. Her research moves through the dematerialization of scenarios and landscapes in experiences that cross media and devices by using voice, temporal space, the oneiric, and the body in relation and by inhabiting the artistic field, also as a field for the expansion of consciousness. She holds a Master’s in Multimedia Art – Performance and Installation from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. She graduated in Cinema in São Paulo and studied Set Design at the National Film and Television School in England (2001). She has also been an art director and set designer for cinema, video, and photography since 2005. She lives and works between Lisbon and São Paulo.
