María de los Angeles Rodríguez Jiménez é uma artista interdisciplinar nascida em 1992 em Holguín, Cuba. Ela se graduou na Cooper Union, Nova York em 2015 e realizou seu mestrado em Pintura e Gravura na Universidade de Yale em 2020. Rodríguez Jiménez participou de residências como a Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture (2016), SOMA Summer (2019) e Residency Unlimited (2020). Seu trabalho foi exibido no High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA), no Frost Art Museum (Miami, FL) e no Mattatuck Museum (Waterbury, CT). Ela recebeu a bolsa de pesquisa Fulbright (2021), onde colaborou com dançarinos e praticantes de candomblé no Brasil. Atualmente vive e trabalha entre Brooklyn, Nova York e Salvador, Bahia.

She received her BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 2015 and MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Yale University in 2020. Rodríguez Jiménez has participated in residencies such as the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture (2016), SOMA Summer (2019) and Residency Unlimited (2020). Her work has been exhibited at the High Museum of Art (Atlanta, GA), the Frost Art Museum (Miami, FL), and The Mattatuck Museum (Waterbury, CT). She was a recipient of The Fulbright Research Fellowship (2021) where she collaborated with Candomblé dancers and practitioners in Brazil. She currently lives and works between both Brooklyn, New York and Salvador, Bahia.
