Paula da Rocha is a textile artist who uses techniques such as weaving, hand embroidery and sewing as means of expression. Through the combination of introspective processes and manual work, the artist creates her own universes in the form of plots and permeates them with her thoughts, which she illustrates with the help of her threads and needles. Her contact with the textile universe and craftsmanship has taken place since her childhood, crossing various techniques, themes and purposes. Currently, Rocha’s work consists of a constant attempt to calm her restless mind through the movement of her restless hands. Born in Paraná, BR, she live in São Paulo since 2014 and also works as a graphic designer.
