Rachel Gontijo Araujo é escritora, tradutora e cofundadora d’A Bolha, uma editora dedicada à publicação de títulos traduzidos para o português e à disseminação de trabalhos de autores brasileiros sub-representados na América do Norte. É também autora de Primary Anatomy, que tem trechos publicados pela Mandorla, Action Yes, Everyday Genius, Evening Will Come, Sipirale Magazine, Recour Au Poème e The & Now Awards: The best of innovative writing 2. Além disso, traduziu para o inglês, em parceria com Nathanaël, A obscena senhora D, de Hilda Hilst. Possui mestrado em Belas Artes concedido pela School of the Art Institute of Chicago e é cofundadora da Praça, uma comunidade e plataforma virtual onde leitores, criadores e entusiastas da cultura impressa independente podem se reunir, trocar ideias, adquirir e vender publicações, financiar projetos, buscar serviços e também interagir com outras leitoras e editoras.

Rachel Gontijo Araujo is a writer, translator and co-founder of A Bolha, a publishing house dedicated to publishing titles translated into Portuguese and disseminating works by underrepresented Brazilian authors in North America. She is also the author of Primary Anatomy, which has excerpts published by Mandorla, Action Yes, Everyday Genius, Evening Will Come, Sipirale Magazine, Recour Au Poème and The & Now Awards: The best of innovative writing 2. In addition, she has translated into English, in partnership with Nathanaël, The Obscene Madame D, by Hilda Hilst. She has a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is a co-founder of Praça, a community and virtual platform where readers, creators and independent print culture enthusiasts can meet, exchange ideas, purchase and sell publications, fund projects, seek services and also interact with other readers and publishers.
