Paula Pedrosa (São Paulo, 1978) é artista-bióloga que influenciada pela formação em biologia e ecologia, investiga as relações entre natureza e cultura entremeando ciência e imaginação, o particular e o todo, o factual e o maravilhoso. Desde 2015 participa de exposições nacionais e internacionais, com destaque ao prêmio Nova Fotografia 2020 do Museu da Imagem e Som, em São Paulo. Publicou seu primeiro livro, Diorama, em parceria com a editora Olhavê em 2019. Em anos recentes vem expandindo sua prática artística para além da imagem fotográfica, utilizando outras técnicas como a escrita, e também dando palestras, cursos livres e fomentando encontros para pensar a natureza-cultura em tempos de colapso ecológico.

Paula Pedrosa(São Paulo, 1978) is an artist-biologist. Influenced by her background in biology and ecology, she investigates the relationships between nature and culture, interweaving science and imagination, the particular and the whole, the factual and the marvelous. Since 2015, she has participated in national and international exhibitions, receiving the 2020 Nova Fotografia Award from the São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound. She released her first book Diorama in partnership with the publisher Olhavê in 2019. In recent years, she has been expanding her artistic practice beyond photographic images, using other techniques such as writing, offering lectures and free courses, and promoting meetings to reflect on nature-culture in times of ecological collapse.
