Transitando por diferentes mídias, tais como escultura, instalação, performance e fotografia, Nathalie Ventura investiga as repercussões do colapso ecológico na maneira como habitamos a Terra, construímos cidades, consumimos e produzimos artefatos. Frente aos impasses da prática arquitetônica neste novo cenário em que adentramos, o Antropoceno, percebe na matéria com que trabalha uma herança moderna que separou cultura e natureza. É artista, arquiteta e pesquisadora, mestre em Arquitetura pela PUC-Rio. Participou de exposições como a Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa junto ao Coletivo Ruinorama (Lisboa, 2022), Matéria Muta (Bhering/RJ, 2022) e Assembleia (Refresco/RJ, 2022). Vive e trabalha no Rio de Janeiro.

Transiting through different media, such as sculpture, installation, performance, and photography, Nathalie Ventura investigates the repercussions of ecological collapse on how we inhabit Earth, build cities, consume, and produce artifacts. Faced with the impasses of architectural practice in this new scenario we are entering, the Anthropocene, she perceives, in the matter with which she works, a modern inheritance that has separated culture and nature. She is an artist, architect, and researcher, with a Master’s in Architecture from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She has participated in exhibitions such as the Lisbon Architecture Triennale together with Coletivo Ruinorama (Lisbon, 2022), Matéria Muta (Bhering, Rio de Janeiro, 2022), and Assembleia (Refresco, Rio de Janeiro, 2022). She lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.
