Sou artista visual, trabalhando de forma multimodal, principalmente com vídeo, escultura e fotografia. Desde a formação como mestra em artes visuais do Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Dublin) em 2010, expus internacionalmente na Europa, no México e nos EUA. Em 2015 recebi a Rubinstein Fellowship no programa de estudos independentes da Whitney em New York e a agenda política desse programa consolidou minha prática como artista que lida com questões políticas contemporâneas urgentes. Desde 2017, tenho me engajado em olhar a questão de fronteiras, onde foquei particularmente nos espaços contestados no Ártico. Isso me levou a receber três residências separadas no Ártico e uma comissão da Hugh Lane Gallery. Atualmente sou doutoranda no Departamento de Cinema e Mídia da Temple University, Philadelphia, recebendo o prêmio de financiamento de pós-graduação em 2019. Sou artista consultora da Creative Capital (sedeada em New York) e professora no Sotheby’s Institute of Art (New York) e na Temple University (Philadelphia).

I am a visual artist, working multimodally, primarily with video, sculpture and photography. Since graduating from M.A.Vis (IADT) in 2010 I have shown internationally in Europe, Mexico and USA. I was awarded the Rubinstein fellowship at the Whitney Independent study program in New York in 2015 and the program’s political agenda consolidated my practice as an artist dealing with urgent contemporary political issues. Since 2017 I have been engaged at looking at the issue of borders, where I have particularly focused on contested spaces in the Arctic. This led me to be awarded three separate residencies in the Arctic and a commission by the Hugh Lane Gallery. I am currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Film and Media at Temple University, Philadelphia, receiving the Graduate Funding award in 2019. I am a consulting artist to Creative Capital, which is based in New York and I teach at Sotheby’s Institute of Art , New York and Temple University, Philadelphia.
